Sound Journey with iRest Yoga Nidra with Teresa

Thursdays 7:30-8:30PM

An invitation to slow down, turn inward, and experience deep rest through the combination of live sound and guided iRest Yoga Nidra meditation.

This immersive practice weaves together the rich vibrations of crystal singing bowls, gong, drum, and chimes with the gentle self-inquiry of Yoga Nidra. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions and adapted for modern life, iRest invites you to explore sensations, emotions, and thoughts with curiosity and without judgment.

Together, sound and guided meditation create a space to quiet the demands of everyday life, reconnect with yourself, and simply be. There is nothing to achieve, no particular state to reach, and nowhere else you need to be.

What to expect

Your experience begins with gentle movement and guided meditation to help you settle into your body and prepare for rest.

As you lie comfortably, Teresa will guide you through iRest Yoga Nidra, inviting awareness of your breath, body, sensations, and emotions. The resonant tones of crystal bowls, gong, drum, monochord, and chimes are woven throughout the practice, creating an evolving soundscape that supports relaxation and inward reflection.

Unlike meditation practices that ask you to clear your mind, iRest encourages you to welcome whatever arises, just as it is. You may experience moments of stillness, drifting thoughts, vivid imagery, or deep rest. Every experience is unique, and there is no right or wrong way to participate.

Who it’s for

This class is for anyone seeking a moment of stillness, deeper relaxation, or a more compassionate connection with themselves.

Whether you're navigating everyday stress, finding it difficult to quiet a busy mind, exploring meditation for the first time, or simply craving an hour of uninterrupted rest, this practice welcomes you exactly where you are.

No experience with yoga, meditation, or sound practices is needed. All are welcome.
